The celebration continues at 2:00 PM with the opening of The Chromophiliacs at Richmond Art Gallery, just across the courtyard.

Tides Within unites Richmond artists Fanny BokYin Tang, and Debra Zhou. Tang’s seascapes blend marine life and coral forms, reflecting environmental fragility and Buddhist themes. Zhou’s abstract watercolour landscapes, inspired by pregnancy and motherhood, explore life’s creation and cosmic resonance. Both use water as a metaphor and draw from Chinese ink brush aesthetics.

 

The Annex Gallery is located in Richmond Cultural Centre Annex, 7660 Minoru Gate, Richmond, BC V6Y 1R8
